This read-only field displays the name of the selected database.

" " Alias

This read-only field displays the alias of the selected database.

" " Default drive or directory

For UNIX-based implementations of DB2, this field is titled Default directory, while in OS/2 and Microsoft Windows implementations, it is titled Default drive.

If, when the database was cataloged, an incorrect drive or directory was specified, use this field to specify the correct drive or directory.
Note:You can only change the drive or directory for a local database (that is, the database must be on the same machine as the Control Center server).

For OS/2 and Microsoft Windows implementations, use the arrow to display the list of available drives. For UNIX-based implementations, click on the Browse button and select a directory.

" " Comment

This field contains the comment currently specified for the database. To change the comment, type the new comment in this field. You can type up to 254 characters, including embedded blanks.
