Task Authorities and privileges
To add or change an instance You must have SYSADM or SYSCTRL authority.
To configure an instance You must have SYSADM authority.
To configure or test multisite update You must have SYSADM authority.
To force applications from a given instance You must first be connected to that instance.

To force an application off the system, you must have SYSADM or SYSCTRL authority.

To list applications You must have SYSADM, SYSCTRL, or SYSMAINT authority.

To set up communications

You must have SYSADM authority.

Decide which communications protocols you want to enable for the selected instance.

To stop an instance You must have either SYSADM, SYSCTRL, or SYSMAINT authority.
