6Keyword description:

6Controls the SQL data type returned when TIME columns and parameter 6markers are described.

6db2cli.ini keyword syntax:

6MapTimeDescribe = 0 | 1 | 2

6Default setting:

6The default SQL data type for TIME data is returned: SQL_TIME for 6ODBC 2.0 or SQL_TYPE_TIME for ODBC 3.0

6To control the SQL data type that is returned when TIME columns and 6parameter markers are described, set MapTimeDescribe as follows: 6

• 60 - to return the default SQL data type: SQL_TIME for ODBC 62.0 or SQL_TYPE_TIME for ODBC 3.0
• 61 - to return the SQL_CHAR SQL data type
• 62 - to return the SQL_WCHAR SQL data type 6

6Only the following DB2 CLI functions are affected by setting 6MapTimeStampDescribe: 6

• 6SQLDescribeCol()
• 6SQLDescribeParam()
• 6SQLGetDescField()
• 6SQLGetDescRec() 6

6The DB2 CLI catalog functions are not affected by this 6keyword.
