2Migrating DB2 XML Extender to Version 8.1.2

2If you are migrating from a Version 7 FixPak, refer to each of the release 2notes for the Version 7 FixPack for more information on what changes are 2included when upgrading to Version 8.1.2. Each new FixPak 2contains all of the previous FixPaks' updates.

2To migrate DB2 XML Extender from previous versions to Version 28.1.2, complete the following steps. 2

1. 2From the DB2 command line, enter:

   2db2 connect to database_name
   2db2 bind dxxinstall\@dxxMigv.lst

   where dxxinstall is the directory path in which you installed 2DB2.
2. 2From the DB2 command line, enter:

   2dxxMigv database_name
