1c.i) Checking the installation of the DB2 HTML documentation on
          UNIX-based operating systems

The doc_install script allows you to query your system to find which
HTML documentation topics are currently installed, and in what languages
they are installed. The doc_install --q --i script that you use to check
this is found on your CD-ROM, or inside of the image that you
downloaded.

Procedure

To check which HTML documentation topics are installed on your system:
1. Run the doc_install --q --i script.
2. Check to see if you get the following sample output:
   core-en_US
   admin-en_US
   start-en_US
   core-fr_FR
   admin-fr_FR
   start-fr_FR

If you do not receive any output, then there are no HTML documentation
topics installed on your system.
