Welcome to DB2* for Windows** 95 & Windows NT** Version 2.1.1!
                               FixPak 8096


This FixPak will update any of the following DB2 v2.1.0 for Windows NT or
DB2 v2.1.0 for Windows 95 products to the v2.1.1 level (English only):

  o  DB2 v2.1.0 for Windows NT (Server or Single-User)
  o  DDCS v2.3.0 for Windows NT (Multi-User or Single-User)
  o  SDK v2.1.0 for Windows NT
  o  SDK v2.1.0 for Windows 95


To install from hard disk, please do the following:

1) Copy all 22 .zip files to a temporary directory.
     eg. copy us96*.zip c:\db2inst

2) Unzip the .zip files to recreate the install directories.
     pkunzip -d *.zip      (the -d option is required)

3) Change directories to DISK1, and type SETUP to start the install.


To install from floppy disks, please do the following:

1) Prepare 22 blank, formatted 1.44M disks.

2) Copy all 22 .zip files and MAKEDSKS.BAT to a temporary directory.

3) Run the MAKEDSKS batch file to create the disks.

4) Run SETUP from the first created disk to start the install.
