JDBC is not supported for instances or clients using 64-bit addressing. This limitation includes systems running 64-bit DB2 UDB Version 7 for AIX 4.3.3, for AIX 5, for Solaris operating systems, and for HP-UX. However, JDBC is supported on 32-bit instances regardless of whether the system is running the 64-bit or 32-bit version of DB2 UDB.
