README for Web Control Center Fix for FixPak 7

If you have downloaded FixPak 7 before the end of January, 1999,
and you are having a problem logging on to the Web Control
Center, please download the file db2webcc.jar which is located
in the same directory as this README and replace the
existing db2webcc.jar in your current DB2 installation.

Please shut down the Web Control Center application and back-up
your existing db2webcc.jar before copying the new one in.  This
will allow you to go back to the old version if required for any
reason.

UNIX Considerations
-------------------

You can find the db2webcc.jar file which is to be replaced
in the following locations for each operating system
listed.  You will need to copy the file in from the root ID.

On AIX, the db2webcc.jar file is located in:
/usr/lpp/db2_05_00/java/

On HP, Solaris, SCO and SGI, the db2webcc.jar file is
located in:
/opt/IBMdb2/V5.0/java/


On UNIX platforms, after copying the new db2webcc.jar file
into the proper location, you will need to update your
instance(s) by running the following command for each instance:

db2iupdt instancename


OS/2 and Windows 95/98/NT Considerations
----------------------------------------

For DB2 installations on OS/2 or Windows 95/98/NT, the
db2webcc.jar file that you need to replace with the new
one is typically located in:
X:\sqllib\java\

where X: is the drive where DB2 is installed.
