This APAR implements IBM CICS version 2.0 client for
service level 07 . After the application of this
fixpack this version 2.0 client will be upgraded to Version
2.0.4 service level 07.

When processing a Program Tab 3270 order in the middle of an
unprotected field, all characters to the end of that field
should be replaced with nulls, and the cursor should be moved to
the beginning of the next unprotected field. The client
incorrectly processes the program tab, by replacing ALL
characters with nulls up to the beginning of the next
unprotected field. This can result in protected fields being
overwritten with nulls.

CICSTERM and CICSPRNT have been amended to correctly handle the
program tab order in the middle of an uprotected field.

While using the CICS Client, handles are obtained from the
operating system but never recovered. This is particularly
visible in a multithreaded environment.

CICS client terminals (CICSTERM, CICSPRNT, and EPI terminals),
incorrectly sends TCTUA information to the server. This can lead
to the TCTUA on the server being incorrect when communicating
with an MVS CICS region.
---------------- Problem conclusion
The CICS client has been changed so that the TCTUA information
is not sent by CICS client terminals. The CICS client has also
been changed to ignore the contents of any inbound TCTUA

CICSTERM ignores the numeric BMS field attribute and allows the
user to enter non-numeric data into a field defined as numeric
only.
---------------- Problem conclusion
CICSTERM has been amended so the user can only enter characters
0 to 9, '.' and '-' in a field defined as numeric. If another
displayable character is attempted to be put into the numeric
field then a beep will be issued.

* active when the client attempts to use *
* it, the CPU goes to 100% usage. *

The client has a server defined which connects with
IBM communications server. If the client attempts to use
this server when it is not started, then due to incorrect
logic in the CICS client, the CPU used by the CICS client
process (CCLCLNT.EXE) goes to 100%.

The CICS client has been changed so that the CPU loop will not
occur.
