Fixes: APAR IX78502 In some cases, CallPath DDE does not process the disconnect message from CallPath Enterprise when an external party goes on-hook. Status: Fixed in this service update (defect 6508) APAR IX79573 An agent has extended a call to another party in which the agent has the 1st call on hold and is now connected with the 2nd party. If the 1st party goes away then the agent is notified and is still connected with the 2nd party. But now, if the agent attempts to disconnect from the 2nd party then a return code of INVALID_CALLID is returned from the disconnect request. CallPath DDE was using the CID associated with the 1st party instead of the CID associated with the 2nd party. This problem has been corrected. Status: Fixed in this service update (defect 6544) Defect 6558 When a DDE Client application has a hot-link to a DDE Item supported by the CallPath DDE Server, the DDE Server does not notify the DDE Client when the item is updated with blank data. An example for this is when the client has a hot-link for the DDE Item ALERTING_CALLER_NUMBER in which the data associated with this item may be blank if ANI is not provided by the PBX. Defect 6859 For the Hicom switch an extension can have non-numeric characters, for example "O379". CallPath DDE was unable to correctly identify the extension. This problem has been corrected. Defect 7318 For the AT&TG3 switch a supervisor can perform a silent-monitoring for an active call. CallPath DDE was incorrectly setting the state of the active call to idle whenever the supervisor disconnected from the active call. This problem has been corrected. Defect 7439 A DDE Client application is unable to receive a hot-link notification link from CallPath DDE. The hot-link is established, however, CallPath DDE does not notify the DDE Client whenever data is updated for the hot-link item. This problem has been corrected. Defect 7912 A fix has been made to correct the problem where CallPath DDE running on Windows 98 was trapping on shutdown. This was not a problem on Windows NT. PMR 23256 When issuing a MakeCall from a virtual line other than the 1st line the generated telephony events (DIALING event) was being received for the 1st virtual line. Defect 8022 When an agent issues a MakeCall from virtual line 1 in which the call is not answered and is then sent to phone-mail, CallPath DDE treats this scenario as 2 calls on different virtual lines (lines 1 and 2) for the extension making the call. When phone-mail answers the call then the call on virtual line 1 goes away and now the call on virtual line 2 is connected. This is inconsistent with the agent's request of making the call on virtual line 1. These events need to be reflected on virtual line 1. Defect 8283 The CID field sizes for DDE Item INBOUND_DATA is 8. The size for the same DDE Item in the product CC/Win is 16. This will cause offset problems for those DDE applications the uses INBOUND_DATA that have migrated from CC/Win to CallPath DDE. This has been corrected. Defect 8284 CallPath DDE fires the DDE Item INBOUND_DATA after it had already fired the other DDE Alerting items (e.g. ALERTING_CALLER_NUMBER, ALERTING_DNIS, etc ...) This is inconsistent with the CC/Win product which first fires the DDE Item INBOUND_DATA. This has been corrected.
