The following fixes are included in this Program Temporary Fix (PTF):

COMPONENT                        PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

Java Runtime Environment (JRE)   Replacement of jre version 1.1.7 with version 1.1.8
                                 because of problems drawing java controls in
                                 the panels of the main GUI. These problems
                                 only happen on Win2000 operating system.

The jre replacement is only installed on your system if you have previously installed
the client component. In this case, the content of the jre directory is substituted.

Installation:

You must have installed the IBM DB2 Intelligent Miner for Data successfully.
No other PTFs are required.

To install the PTF package, follow these steps:

- Close any client of the IBM DB2 Intelligent Miner for Data that might be
  executing.
- Execute the file PTF_U470340.exe located in the same directory as this
  readme file.

Warning:

If you want to install additional components of the IBM DB2 Intelligent Miner
for Data at a later point of time, make sure to reinstall all PTF packages.

If you do not reinstall the PTFs, your IBM DB2 Intelligent Miner for Data might
become unusable because you might have a mixture of old and fixed files.
