1. Errors corrected by PTF U453359

This PTF fixes the problem that can be seen when sorting the avai-
lable fields list or the active fields list in the Task Guides:

Clicking on the right mouse button when the mouse pointer is over 
the available fields list or over the active fields list opens a 
context menu. This menu allows to sort the fields in ascending 
and descending order. If the number of fields is very large, the 
sort choice has to be selected several times so that the fields are
sorted correctly.

Applying this PTF lets these two menu items also work for large 
lists of data.


2. Installation Notes
   __________________

The PTF contains this readme and two Java zip files:
   
  - idmgui.zip 
  - idmjni.zip

DO NOT UNZIP THESE 2 FILES.

These two files are platform independent. This fix is applied by replacing 
the original zip files with the new ones in this package. No other change is
necessary.

The change has to be made on the Intelligent Miner for Data V2.1.1 
clients.


2.1 System dependent considerations

Depending on the operating system that you are using for your Intelligent
Miner client, the files that need to be replaced are located in a 
directory as follows:



            AIX               Windows           OS/2
  --------------------------------------------------------------
    /usr/lpp/IMiner/lib      c:\im\lib      c:\iminer\lib

You may have changed the default installation directory of Intelligent Miner 
for Windows (c:\im) or OS/2 (c:\iminer). In this case you need to go to the lib 
subdirectory of your install directory.



2.2 Installing the PTF

- Close all Intelligent Miner clients on the machine, where the PTF 
  should be applied.

- Rename the old files idmgui.zip and idmjni.zip 
  to idmgui.old and idmjni.old respectively.

- Copy the idmgui.zip and idmjni.zip files delivered by the PTF to the 
  directories as specified in section 2.1.

- Now restart the Intelligent Miner clients.
