Infoprint(R) DBCS Font Downloader Read Me

IBM^(R) Infoprint Double-Byte Character Set (DBCS) Font Downloader has the following system requirements:

|Windows NT^(R) 4 Workstation Service Pack 6 or later, or |Windows^(R) 2000 Professional
|64MB (1 MB equals approximately 1 000 000 bytes) |of RAM
25 MB of free hard disk space
Ethernet Network adapter

To install Infoprint DBCS Font Downloader:

Insert the Infoprint DCBS Font Downloader CD-ROM into the drive. The installation program starts automatically.
Follow the instructions on the installation screens.
During the installation, you must identify your Ethernet connection.
- On Windows NT, if you have more than one network adapter, the installation program prompts you to select one. Select the network adapter that supports Ethernet.
- On Windows 2000, the installation program displays the Control Panel. A message box instructs you to open the Properties of your Ethernet connection. To do this:
  1. On the Control Panel, select Network and Dial-up Connections.
  2. Double-click the Name field of your Ethernet connection to open the Status dialog.
  3. Click Properties.
After the installation program completes, shut down and restart the computer. When you restart, the Infoprint DBCS Font Downloader setup dialog is automatically displayed.
