Okay. I understand how that works but how do I tell PSF to use that FORMDEF with my LIST3820 file from SCRIPT?
If you use PSF/MVS, you can work with your systems programmer to have your new FORMDEF put into the libraries used by PSF at print time. V2R1 of PSF/MVS provides for user resource libraries. You could have a private resource library for your formdef. If you use PSF/VM you can include the FORMDEF in your print job by using the FORMDEF option on the PSF command, telling PSF to SEND your resource with your print job. Another alternative is to tell PSF/VM to LINK to your private disk to get at the resource. See the PSF/VM User's Guide for more information.
