Still have space when .TM 0

Question

I specified a top margin of 0 but I still have a half-inch top margin. What's wrong?

Answer

  Check your running header. The default SCRIPT running heading is

      .rh on
      .sp 3
      .rh off

  You must cancel the running header (.RH CANCEL) to regain the space at the
  top of the page.

  The default running footing is:

      .rf on
      .sp 2
      .ce - &$PS -
      .rf off
