The
Telelogic Synergy for Eclipse interface is supported
in the following Windows locales: Japanese, Korean, PRC/Simplified/GBK Chinese,
Traditional/Big-5 Chinese, and C. Telelogic supports
use in any locale using the Latin-1 character set or the Windows extension CP
1252; however, such locales have not been tested.

There are two methods for installing the integration, depending on which version of Eclipse you have installed. Please choose one method and follow the instructions below

Start Eclipse, go to Help->Software Updates->Find and Install…
·
Choose Search for new features to install and
click Next.
·
Install the
integration either from the Telelogic Update Site, or
from a local installation:

If using
the Telelogic Update Site:
1.
Click New Remote Site.
2.
Enter Telelogic for
the name and http://download.boulder.ibm.com/ibmdl/export/pub/software/rational/telelogic/eclipse
for the URL.
3.
Click OK, then click
Finish.

If using
a local installation:
1. Download the Telelogic Synergy for
Eclipse Interface 4.1.0. The integration is available in the form of a zip file
eclipse330_410.ZIP.
2. Unzip the zip file to a temporary
directory.
3.
In the Eclipse Update Manager, click New Local Site and browse to the
temporary directory where you unzipped the files.
4.
Click OK, then click
Finish.

Find Telelogic Synergy for Eclipse Interface 4.1.0 in the list
of available features and click the checkbox next to it.

Click Next.
·
Accept the
license agreement and click Next.
·
Click Finish.
·
Click Install All.
·
When prompted to
restart Eclipse, click Yes.
·
Start Eclipse, go to Help->Software Updates.
·
Click on the Available Software tab and click Add Site.
·
Install the
integration either from the Telelogic Update Site, or
from a local installation:

If using
the Telelogic Update Site:
1.
In the Add Site dialog box, type http://download.boulder.ibm.com/ibmdl/export/pub/software/rational/telelogic/eclipse
as the location and click OK.
2.
Select the checkbox next to the newly added site
and click Install.

If using
a local installation:
1. Download the Telelogic Synergy for
Eclipse Interface 4.1.0. The integration is available in the form of a zip file
eclipse330_410.ZIP.
2. Unzip the zip file to a temporary
directory.
3.
In the Add Site dialog box, click Local.
4.
Browse to the temporary directory where you
unzipped the files and click OK.
5.
Select the checkbox next to the newly added site
and click Install.

Find Telelogic Synergy for Eclipse Interface 4.1.0 in the list
of available features and click the checkbox next to it.
·
Click Next.
·
Accept the
license agreement and click Finish.
·
When prompted to
restart Eclipse, click Yes.
·
Mylyn 3.0 is now
supported. This version of the integration does not support earlier Mylyn
versions.
·
Synergy 7.0 is
now supported.

Support and information for Telelogic products is currently being transitioned from the Telelogic Support site to the IBM Rational Software Support site. During this transition phase, your product support location depends on your customer history.

a Telelogic customer prior to November 1, 2008,
