Author: Bill Schoen WSCHOEN at KGNVMC, schoen@vnet.ibm.com Title: SDSF-like utility PROPERTY OF IBM COPYRIGHT IBM CORP. 1998 ************************************************************************ Usage information: ================= Use the command sdsf help for current online documentation. Install information: =================== Note: This utility uses SDSF in batch mode so JES2 and SDSF are required. ========================== Download sdsf in text format. sdsf should be copied as text to an HFS directory and must be given read and execute permission and marked as do not run in shared address space. An example of the shell commands that will do this are: chmod 555 /usr/bin/sdsf extattr -s /usr/bin/sdsf The extattr command is available on OS390 Release 4. Prior to release 4 it may be necessary to run sdsf with _BPX_SHAREAS=NO to avoid allocation conflicts with DD names. SDSF batch mode may have different authorization characteristics under batch mode than when run under TSO in your installation. This can prevent the PREFIX command from working as you might expect.
