ICS2WLM is a REXX designed to help you when starting out on the GOAL
mode trail.

The authors (Sparkasse Cologne) placed this REXX on one of the bitserv
groups and got flamed by a certain system guru with an attitude, so to
prevent any misunderstanding please read the following:

It does NOT create a ready to run WLM, mainly because the information
required is not in the ICS.  You must complete the process by reading

     Title: OS/390 V1R3.0 MVS Planning: Workload Management
     Document Number: GC28-1761-02

and using the WLM utility.

That being said it does save a great deal of time if you have large and
complex ICS member(s).

You use it by creating a blank WLM definition dataset.

ex 'SYS1.SBLSCLI0(IWMARIN0)'<enter>
<enter>
3<enter>
select the file pull down
select save as
type in a dataset name (lets call it wlm)<enter>
1<enter>
PF12

and then enter

%ICS2WLM 'SYS1.PARMLIB(IEAICS00)'  WLM

you can then carry on editing the updated WLM with
ex 'SYS1.SBLSCLI0(IWMARIN0)'<enter>
1<enter>
<enter>
