Signon screen is not bypassed. Also, in some cases, the user may see an unneccessary window, which prompts for user and password information. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.0 INSTALLATION NOTES ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.1 Applying the patch ----------------------------------------------------- 1) Close all open emulator sessions. 2) Locate the "Emulator" folder inside the IBM i Access install path. By default, this is "C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Emulator" 3) In that directory, rename the file pcstlnet.dll to pcstlnet.dll.bak 4) Save the patch versions of pcstlnet.dll into this directory. 2.2 Removing the patch --------------------------- 1) Close all open emulator sessions. 2) Locate the "Emulator" folder inside the IBM i Access install path. By default, this is "C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Emulator" 3) In that directory, delete pcstlnet.dll 4) Rename the file pcstlnet.dll.bak to pcstlnet.dll ------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.0 PERMANENT FIX DELIVERY ------------------------------------------------------------------- The permanent fix will be delivered in V7R1, Service Pack 3.
