1.1  Problem Description

The Quick Connect Bar is a new emulator feature in 7.1 IBM i Access
for Windows.  Currently, the only way to hide the Quick Connect Bar
is through a menu option on the View pulldown.  This readme.txt file
contains information for how to add an additional policy which can
be used to restrict users from gaining access to it.  An English
only policy template is included which can be used for any available
language.

2.1 Applying the patch
-------------------------------------------------------------------

	1. Download the “quickconn.adm” policy template. 
	2. Open Windows Policy Editor (gpedit.msc).
	3. Right-click  “Administrative Templates”.
	4. Choose “Add/Remove Templates”.
	5. Click the “Add” button.
	6. Browse to the location the .adm file was previously saved
	   to and select it.
	7. Click “Open”.
	8. Click “Close” on the “Add/Remove Templates dialog screen.
	9. Go to IBM IBM i Access Runtime Restrictions and click the
	   “+” symbol.
	10. Right-click the policy and edit as required.
