So if in CHGSMTPA the parameter ETRNSVR is set to YES, within System i Navigator the box is NOT selected. Here are the steps for easy recreate: 1. On a 5250 emulation execute the commmand CHGSMTPA ETRNSVR(*YES) 2. Start System i Navigator. 3. Expand System -> Network -> Servers -> Click on TCP/IP 4. Right click on SMTP and select properties. 5. On the properties screen select the ETRN tab. 6. You will notice that the box "Support ETRN (Dial-up mail retrieval)" is not selected. You can also skip step 1 and click the box "Support ETRN (Dial-up mail retrieval)" and verify with CHGSMTPA that the parameter ETRNSVR is changed to *YES. When you check the properties, the box is still not selected. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.0 INSTALLATION NOTES ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.1 Applying the patch ----------------------------------------------------- Perform the following steps on your PC: 1) Close System i Navigator if it's running. 2) Enter the installation directory of IBM i Access for Windows.(eg C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access ) 3) Enter the Classes sub directory under the installation directory.(eg C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Classes ) 4) Backup the current cwbuntsa.jar file. Move it out of the Classes folder and put it into a safe place. 5) Download the new cwbuntsa.jar and place it in this directory. 6) The installation is complete. 2.2 Removing the patch --------------------------- Perform the following steps on your PC: 1) Close System i Navigator if it is running. 2) Enter the installation directory of IBM i Access for Windows.(eg C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access ) 3) Enter the Classes sub directory under the installation directory.(eg C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Classes ) 4) Replace the cwbuntsa.jar file with the original copy you previously saved. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.0 PERMANENT FIX DELIVERY ------------------------------------------------------------------- The permanent fix will be delivered in the next V7R1 Service Pack scheduled for May 2011.
