This will disappear and no screen is shown, no message and you can continue selecting something else. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.0 INSTALLATION NOTES ------------------------------------------------------------------- 2.1 Applying the patch ----------------------------------------------------- On your PC where service pack SI41054 has been applied, perform the following steps: 1) Close System i Navigator. 2) Locate the installation directory for IBM i Access for Windows. Start -> All Programs -> IBM i Access for Windows -> -> IBM i Access for Windows Properties select General tab "Installed to directory:" contains the installation directory. (eg C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access ) 3) cd to the Classes sub directory below the installation directory 4) Back up the current auifw.jar. Either move it to another directory or rename it. (eg auifw.jar_old) 5) Download the updated auifw.jar and place it in this directory. 6) The installation is complete. 2.2 Removing the patch --------------------------- 1) Close System i Navigator. 2) Locate the installation directory for IBM i Access for Windows. Start -> All Programs -> IBM i Access for Windows -> -> IBM i Access for Windows Properties select General tab "Installed to directory:" contains the installation directory. (eg C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access ) 3) cd to the Classes sub directory below the installation directory 4) Replace the auifw.jar file with the original copy you saved in step 4) above when "Applying the patch". ------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.0 PERMANENT FIX DELIVERY ------------------------------------------------------------------- The permanent fix will be delivered in the next V7R1 Service Pack scheduled for May 2011.
