By default, this is "C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Emulator" 3) In that directory, rename the file pcscc.dll to pcscc.dll.bak 4) Similarly, rename the file pcsalarm.dll to pcsalarm.dll.bak 5) Also, rename the file pcsws.exe to pcsws.exe.bak 6) Save the patch versions of pcsws.exe, pcscc.dll, and pcsalarm.dll into this directory. 2.2 Removing the patch --------------------------- 1) Close all open emulator sessions. 2) Locate the "Emulator" folder inside the IBM i Access install path. By default, this is "C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Emulator" 6) In that directory, delete pcsws.exe, pcscc.dll, and pcsalarm.dll 3) Rename the file pcscc.dll.bak to pcscc.dll 4) Similarly, rename the file pcsalarm.dll.bak to pcsalarm.dll 5) Also, rename the file pcsws.exe.bak to pcsws.exe ------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.0 PERMANENT FIX DELIVERY ------------------------------------------------------------------- The permanent fix will be delivered in V6R1, Service pack 5.
