5722XE1 V5R4M0 iSeries Access for Windows 

In this directory is a fix for a V5R4M0 iSeries Access for Windows problem 
that is not in the SI27741 service pack.  This only is relevant for users 
who experience the problem described below.

APAR SE29016 CA400EXP-OPNAV-OTHER-UNPRED RUNTIME ERROR IN NAVIGATOR:

   The following Microsoft C++ Runtime error is displayed, when                
   iSeries Navigator is started:

   This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an            
   unusual way.  Please contact the applications support team for              
   more information.                                                           
                                                                               
   After the user clicks OK, is possible to continue working with              
   iSeries Navigator, however the error is displayed intermittently            
   while using the iSeries Navigator functions that use Eclipse                
   help.                                                                       
   This problem was reported on Windows XP Professional x64 Edition            
   Version 2003 and SP1.                                                

RESOLUTION:
The jui400.jar was modified to start the Eclipse help without displaying this 
Runtime error.

CIRCUMVENTION:
None.


This fix ONLY applies to V5R4M0 service pack SI2776.  Please do not attempt to
apply this fix to any other release of iSeries Access for Windows, or any other 
service pack level.

If you need to contact Service about problems with this .jar, you should 
mention that you are using a version of jui400.jar with a modification 
date of 07/09/2007.

File replacement instructions
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) End all running sessions of iSeries Navigator.
2) Locate the file jui400.jar on your client workstation.  This file should
   be located in the jt400 directory under the iSeries Access for Windows install
   directory (for example,  C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\jt400\lib or
   C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Client Access\jt400\lib for 64 bits)
3) Rename jui400.jar to jui400.bak.
4) Copy the fix version of jui400.jar into the same directory.
