5722XE1 V5R3M0 IBM iSeries Access for Windows In this directory is an enhancement for V5R3M0 iSeries Access for Windows iSeries Navigator English (2924) version ONLY. The gldc.jar file contains an English-only iSeries Navigator enhancement to allow directory server administrators the ability to unconfigure different aspects of their directory servers running on their iSeries systems. This enhancement ONLY applies to V5R3M0 service pack SI15176 and newer. Please do not attempt to apply this fix to any other release of iSeries Access for Windows, or any other older service pack level. Also, do not attempt to apply this fix to any national language version of iSeries Access for Windows other than English 2924. The gldc.jar file needs to be loaded on the PC used to manage the iSeries directory server. File replacement instructions: 1) Find the file gldc.jar on your client workstation. This file should be located in the \Classes subdirectory under the iSeries Access for Windows install location (for example: C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Classes) 2) Rename gldc.jar to gldcbak.jar 3) Copy the fix version of gldc.jar into the same directory. Now follow these activation instructions: 1) Launch iSeries Navigator and sign on to the iSeries system that has the directory server that is to be unconfigured. 2) Navigate to -> Network -> Servers -> TCP/IP. 3) Right click on IBM Directory Server and a new Unconfigure context menu will be available. Note: The directory server will need to be stopped before the unconfigure option is available. 4) Selecting the unconfigure context menu option will display the Unconfigure Directory Server panel. 5) Follow the instructions on the panel to unconfigure the directory server.
