5722XE1 V5R2M0 IBM iSeries Access for Windows
In this directory is a fix for a V5R2M0 iSeries Access for Windows
standard PC5250 problem that is not in the SI23978 service pack:

APAR SE27176: CA400EXP-TERMEMUL-INCORROUT ISERIES ACCESS FOR WIN PC5250 HA
  	iSeries Access for Windows PC5250 hangs Not Responding when DBCS
   SI/SO characters with no data are copied.

This problem is fixed in the file named pcsedit.dll.  File replacement instructions
are included below.  If you need to contact Service about issues with this you should
mention that you are using a version of pcsedit.dll with no file version and a size
of 159,232 bytes, for APAR SE27176.

This fix ONLY applies to V5R2M0 service pack SI23978 or newer.  Please do not attempt to
apply this fix to any other release of iSeries Access for Windows, or any other
service pack level.

File replacement instructions
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) End all PC5250 sessions and programs.
2) Locate the file pcsecit.dll on your client workstation.  This file should
   be located in the iSeries Access for Windows Emulator directory
   (for example, C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Emulator)
3) Rename pcsedit.dll to pcsedit.bak.
4) Copy the fix version of pcsedit.dll into the same directory.
5) If the file is in use, you may need to reboot into Safe Mode to copy it.
