5722XE1 V5R2M0 IBM iSeries Access for Windows In this directory is a fix for a V5R2M0 iSeries Access for Windows standard Pc5250 problem that is not in the SI23978 service pack: APAR SE25697: CA400EXP-COMM-UNPRED PC5250 HANGS AFTER HITTING RESET KEY PC5250 hangs after hitting reset key This problem is fixed in the file named pcstlnet.dll. File replacement instructions are included below. If you need to contact Service about issues with this you should mention that you are using a version of pcstlnet.dll with no file version and a size of 221,184 bytes, for APAR SE25697. This fix ONLY applies to V5R2M0 service pack SI23978 or newer. Please do not attempt to apply this fix to any other release of iSeries Access for Windows, or any other service pack level. File replacement instructions ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1) End all PC5250 sessions and programs. 2) Locate the file pcstlnet.dll on your client workstation. This file should be located in the iSeries Access for Windows Emulator directory (for example, C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Emulator) 3) Rename pcstlnet.dll to pcstlnet.bak. 4) Copy the fix version of pcstlnet.dll into the same directory.
