5722XE1 V5R2M0 IBM iSeries Access for Windows

In this directory are fixes for V5R2M0 iSeries Access for Windows Data
Transfer Excel Add-In that are not in the SI23978 service pack:

APAR SE27739: CA400EXP-DTRANSFER EXCEL ADDIN DOWNLOAD FAILS IN EXCEL 2007
  Problem Summary: The iSeries Access Data Transfer Excel add-in causes
  Excel 2007 to crash when downloading data.

This fix ONLY applies to V5R2M0 service pack SI23978.  Please do not attempt to
apply this fix to any other release of iSeries Access for Windows, or any other
service pack level.

If you need to contact Service about problems with this XLL, you should
mention that you are using a version of cwbtfxla.xll with a file
version of 9.0.0.4.

This fix is applied by replacing the file or files on a PC with those that
contain fixes.  If you later re-install a service pack or the entire
product, this testfix file will be overwritten.

File replacement instructions
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Locate the file cwbtfxla.xll on your client workstation.  This file should
   be located in the directory called Shared under the iSeries Access install
   directory -- i.e. the default location is
     C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Shared
2) Copy cwbtfxla.xll to cwbtfxla.bak
3) Copy the fix version of cwbtfxla.xll into the same directory.  If this file
   is in use and cannot be replaced, copy it to the directory as cwbtfxla.new,
   shutdown the PC and re-start it in safe mode with no networking, and
   copy cwbtfxla.new to cwbtfxla.xll; then shutdown and re-start in normal mode.
