=================================================================================== Readme File for installation of the files in self-extracting "mgmtctrl.exe": cwbunyiv.dll, cwbunypc.dll, cwbunyph.dll and cwbunyps.dll. (c) Copyright IBM Corporation 2000. All rights reserved. These files provide Operations Navigator support for new function described in the "Universal Connection Support over TCP/IP" link in the table on the internet at "http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/software/v4r5ptfs.htm". See the entry with items about "Electronic inventory consolidation and reporting", and "Performance data collection and reporting". The function is part of Operations Navigator which comes with 5769-XE1 Client Access Express for Windows. The function requires 5769-XE1 V4R5M0 Service Pack Level SF64217, and the Operations Navigator "Configuration and Services" and "Management Central" components. On the AS/400 it requires 5769-SS1 V4R5M0 and the PTFs listed in the PTF cover letter for 5798-RZG SF64660. These files are not needed after the availability of the next Client Access Express 5769-XE1 V4R5M0 Service Pack which has a target availability of April 27, 2001. =================================================================================== INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: To apply this fix you must exit all instances of Operations Navigator. First save the original files to enable restoring the system to its original state by doing the following: Using an MSDOS prompt or an Explorer session, switch to the appropriate directory where Client Access was installed. If you selected the default directory when installing Client Access, the directory will be C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Shared. If Client Access was installed in a different drive/directory then switch to the Shared directory where Client Access was installed. Locate the cwbunyiv.dll, cwbunypc.dll, cwbunyph.dll and cwbunyps.dll files and rename the files to cwbunyiv.sav, cwbunypc.sav, cwbunyph.sav, and cwbunyps.sav or a file type of your choice. Download the self-extracting mgmctrl.exe file to a temporary directory. Extract the files by running the exe. Now move or copy the fix files cwbunyiv.dll, cwbunypc.dll, cwbunyph.dll, and cwbunyps.dll from the download directory to the appropriate Client Access directory, which was determined above. The fix is now installed. No reboot of the system is required. Operations Navigator may now be restarted.
