INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS: _____________________ There are three files associated with this program - GACODE.EXE (the program code), GAFONTS.EXE (the program fonts), and this README.TXT file. After downloading the files to your PC, unzip GACODE.EXE and move the resulting files into your Client Access directory (typically Program Files\IBM\Client Access), replacing the Graphical Access code files which are already present. Unzip GAFONTS.EXE and rename the resulting .fon files by removing the leading "S" from the name. (For example, rename "Scour.fon" to "cour.fon"). Then move the files into your MRI29xx directory (typically Program Files\IBM\Client Access\MRI29xx), replacing the Graphical Access code files which are already present. In order to take advantage of the new support, you will need to specify a new coded character set ID (CCSID) for Graphical Access. The correct CCSID for the language on your PC is automatically passed for you in Client Access V3R1M3, so you may not have explicitly specified a CCSID previously. However, you will now need to specify a CCSID for this program. If you use the AS/400 Connection dialogue to start a Graphical Access session, you will need to specify the new CCSID on the Default View tab of the Properties page for your connection. Click on the Graphical Access radio button, and then enter /G:CCSID=xxxx (where xxxx is the new CCSID) on the Command line options. (If you start Graphical Access from a shortcut icon, you will need to specify the CCSID on the Shortcut tab of the Shortcut Properties. Add /G:CCSID=xxxx to the Target field.)
