Perform the following steps on your PC: 1) Download the zip file and unzip it. 2) Close any ODBC applications. 3) Rename the original cwbodbc.dll files in C:\Windows\System32 and/or C:\Windows\SysWOW64. 3) Copy the cwbodbc.dll files to the proper locations: For Windows 32-bit: x86/cwbodbc.dll -> C:\Windows\System32 For Windows 64-bit: x86/cwbodbc.dll -> C:\Windows\SysWOW64 x64/cwbodbc.dll -> C:\Windows\System32 5) The installation is complete. 2.2 Removing the patch --------------------------- Perform the following steps on your PC: 1) Close any ODBC applications. 2) Remove the cwbodbc.dll file from C:\Windows\System32 and/or C:\Windows\SysWOW64. 3) Rename the original cwbodbc.dll file in C:\Windows\System32 and/or C:\Windows\SysWOW64. 4) Removal is complete. ------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.0 PERMANENT FIX DELIVERY ------------------------------------------------------------------- The permanent fix will be delivered in the next IBM Access Client Solutions Windows Application Pack, scheduled for May 2023.
