  2.0  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ ME

  This file contains important information about the Intelligent Miner for
  AS/400 server which may not be included in the IBM Intelligent Miner User's
  Guide, SH12-6213-01.  For client information, refer to the README provided
  with the Intelligent Miner client software.

  2.1  PROGRAM SPECIFICATIONS
  ___________________________

  Program specifications are detailed in IBM Intelligent Miner for AS/400
  Licensed Program Specifications, GH12-6279-00.

  You may send E-mail to datamining@vnet.ibm.com.  The home page for the Intel-
  ligent Miner is http://www.software.ibm.com/data/intelli-mine.

  The new qydmstr program starts the IDM deamon with the CCSID of the user profile
  instead of the CCSID of the system value and is working with OS/400 V3R7, V4R1 and V4R2.

  3.0  INSTALLATION NOTES
  _______________________

  To get this fix you have to create a save file on your AS/400 system first. You can choose
  the name of the save file. For FIXLIB write the desired target library which you want.

   CRTSAVF FILE(FIXLIB/IDMDFIX)

  To get the save file, establish a connection to the ftp server. After you log in follow
  these steps.

   - cd /as400/products/IMiner/fixes
   - bin
   - lcd FIXLIB
   - get qydmstr IDMDFIX.IDMDFIX (replace
   - quit

  To restore the program use

   RSTOBJ OBJ(*ALL) SAVLIB(QIDM) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(FIXLIB/IDMDFIX)

  The original program will be replaced.

  AS/400 SERVER:

  An AS/400 Advanced Series RISC System is required.  The Intelligent Miner for
  AS/400 requires approximately 50MB of disk storage.
