Welcome to the future home of the x3270 ftp repository!

We are still preparing x3270 and this site for use as our primary
distribution method.  We will have a directory for the latest generally
available x3270 packages, as well as a directory for hot fixes that
can't wait for a full product update.  In addition, there will be a
directory for selected beta-level code.  Softcopy versions of x3270
documentation will be available in the product directory.

As in the past, we will make installation packages for the iFOR/LS
license manager available at this site, including documentation.

Until this site is ready, we have a temporary ftp repository which
you may access to obtain current x3270 code and documentation.
Here are instructions for accessing the ftp site:

- ftp lscftp.kgn.ibm.com
- login as anonymous and give your email address when prompted for a
  password
- cd pub/pps/x3270
- set transfer mode to binary
- get README.TXT (or get x3270.README; it's the same file)

The README.TXT file will describe more fully what x3270 materials are
available on the lscftp server.
