Installation Instructions
--------------------------

1) VisualAge C++ for AIX 5.0.0.5 PTF

    1.1) Download the following files in binary format:
		- vacpp.5005.ptf.f1.tar.Z
		- vacpp.5005.ptf.f2.tar.Z
		- vacpp.5005.ptf.f3.tar.Z
		- vacpp.5005.ptf.f4.tar.Z
		- vacpp.5005.runtime.ptf.tar.Z
    1.2) Uncompress and untar the following files to extract the files:
		- vacpp.5005.ptf.f1.tar.Z
		- vacpp.5005.ptf.f2.tar.Z
		- vacpp.5005.ptf.f3.tar.Z
		- vacpp.5005.ptf.f4.tar.Z
		- vacpp.5005.runtime.ptf.tar.Z
    1.3) The resulting files are in installp format.  Use installp or smit
         to install.


2) VisualAge C++ for AIX 5.0.0.5 runtime PTF

    2.1) Download the file vacpp.5005.runtime.ptf.tar.Z in binary format.
    2.2) Uncompress and untar the vacpp.5005.runtime.ptf.tar.Z files to 
	 extract the files.
    2.3) The resulting files are in installp format.  Use installp or smit
         to install.
