Composite Document Generation (CD9)

General Issues

Lookup table value deletion
In the attribute selection panel, some attribute can appear more than once. This is a permanent restriction. In this panel, as the attributes are handled by "external name" and as the "external name" is not constrained to be unique, the same name can appear more than once. At the runtime, if the user selects more than one attributes with the same external name, the first attribute is processed for all occurrences.

In "Advanced" queries, some attributes are not properly managed in the conditional rules wizard panel. Until fix is delivered, these attributes can be hidden using CD9's admin settings. Please refer to user's manual.

Open Issues

CD9 generation from Word: Query update
After a query has been inserted in a WinWord document, it is not possible to modify filter's criteria.

Workaround: To modify an inserted query, remove it then insert the same one with new criteria.

Query Link creation: "Select class" window with Previous button
After coming backward to the "Select class" window (through Previous button), a new class selection may lead to error messages and degraded behavior (messages indicating ActiveX or OLE problems). If this state is reached, it is necessary to close and reopen Smarteam.

Workaround: So, if the user wants to correct a class selection omission or a class selection error after having clicked on Next, he must cancel the Query Link creation by clicking on Finish in the current window and on Cancel in the Query Link profile card, then begin a new Query Link creation.
