Defect  APAR     Abstract
318377  IX95002  Multi-threaded applications using more than 2500 threads
                 can cause a system crash.

Installation
============

o  Download 318377.tar in binary format into an empty directory.

o  Extract the updates using the following command.

     tar -xvf 318377.tar

o  Update the system using the following command.  You must have 'root'
   authority to install updates.

     smit update_all

   Specify the directory into which the updates were extracted as the
   "INPUT device / directory for software".

o  You must reboot the system for the updates to take effect using the
   following command.

     shutdown -r
